FPOS (First Person On Scene) first aid training is vital for anyone that wants to feel prepared and confident in an emergency situation where they are one of the first people at the scene. It is the minimum medical training requirement for anyone working within the security sector, yet would also be particularly suitable to employees working within hazardous environments.
The FPOS award is a nationally recognised BTEC qualification that was developed by Edexcel, the awarding body in co-operation with the NHS to create a syllabus that provides excellent first aid skills in a manner that is compatible with NHS practices. Community First Responders who volunteer to attend certain 999 emergency calls in their own community when ambulances are delayed (often in rural areas) are taught using this course. We offer two levels of this course – Basic and Intermediate.
